Student Awards

Student Leadership Awards Convocation (SLAC)
SLAC awards are presented every month (third Thursday) to students who have displayed leadership qualities deserving recognition. Awards are presented to an Individual Student, an Individual Student within an Organization, and Outstanding Organization. All currently registered students are eligible for nomination from faculty, staff, and students.

Tiger Pride Awards (TPA)
The Tiger Pride Awards are presented at the end of the academic year to students who have exemplified the spirit of the the founding fathers of Lincoln University, the soldiers of the 62nd and 65th Colored Infantries. The TPA is presented to an outstanding Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, and Campus Organization who have demonstrated academic excellence, volunteerism, and leadership worthy of recognition. Students must complete minimum activities for eligibility and make a formal presentation to a selection committee in regard to their activities over the past academic year. The TPA will be presented during an awards luncheon honoring the recipients.
