Workshops

The Counseling and Career Services Office provides career workshops to LU students to prepare them for their job search. Before a student can be successful in obtaining suitable employment using the education and skills acquired here at LU, they need to be prepared to contact and meet prospective employers.

The topics covered are resume’ and cover letter critiquing, professional attire for the interview, practicing for the interview, instructions on accessing opportunities posted on LU’s Blackboard, how to search for jobs using search engines and completing online applications. Other subjects would include resources available to the job seeker, their relative merit and costs.
