Department of Computer Science,  Mathematics, and Technology

The growth of information processing in both the expansion of installations and the complexity of hardware and software, has greatly increased the need for competent information processing personnel. The curriculum in computer science and computer information systems at Lincoln University prepares students for employment as computer application programmers, analysts, information center supervisors, directors of data processing, database managers, network administrators, user support personnel, and consultants. Our department provides students with hands-on access to modern IT technology. We have networked IBM PC labs, email accounts and Internet access for every enrolled student. We have established a reputation as one of the leading establishments in the Central Missouri area, and it is our intention to maintain it. There are currently 10 faculty members in the department. The teaching faculty in this department represents many years of varied experience including education, business and industry.

The offices of the department are on the first floor of Damel Hall. The main office of the department is in room DH 200.
