Academic Success and Student Retention

Mission

The mission of Academic Success and Student Retention is to provide academic support using a comprehensive array of activities and services to assist students throughout their journey to a successful graduation. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the academic support services offered and involve themselves in social, cultural, and other campus activities.

Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives of Academic Success and Student Retention are to increase the University's student retention and graduation rate and to foster an institutional climate supportive of their success by offering tutorial services as well as collaborating with other units on campus in planning academic seminars, orientation programs, leadership opportunities, and faculty and peer mentoring.
