Blue Tiger Highlights
Wednesday, November 19: Women's Basketball. While the score may not reflect it, Lincoln University Blue Tiger Women's Basketball Coach Tim Abney says he saw some big improvements during the game with Rockhurst. Despite losing by a final score of 65-47, the Blue Tigers had a strong second half. The Blue Tigers were once again led by Ashley Norris. This time she had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Stacey Smith added 8 points. Paris Campbell had 11 rebounds. The Women are back home for their next game this weekend at Jason Gym. Tip-off against Hannibal-LaGrange is Saturday at 3:00.
Wednesday, November 19: Football. More recognition from the Great Lakes Football Conference for the Lincoln University Blue Tigers Football Team. Tyler Victor led 5 other Blue Tigers named on the GLFC All-Academic Team. Victor's 3.77 gpa was good enough to land him on the All Academic First Team. PJ Williams, Joe Simmons and Lamont Brown were named Offensive Second Team. Torrence Malone and Mike Philips were named Defensive Second Team.

Tuesday, November 18: Men's Basketball. For the first time in a long time, the Lincoln University Blue Tigers Men's Basketball Team is 2-0. The Blue Tigers defeated the Missouri S&T Miners 70-59. Lionel Booker led the team with 17 points. Donald Brumfield added his 15 points. Ricky Jackson led the team with his 9 rebounds. Joe Hutchingson had 17 rebounds and 14 points. The Blue Tigers take their winning streak on the road south to Joplin for the Missouri Southern Classic this weekend.
Tuesday, November 18: Football. Great news for the Lincoln University Blue Tiger Football Team. Several Blue Tigers have been named to the All Great Lakes Football Conference Team. Jamel Wilmore has been named Linebacker of the Year, he also tied for Freshman of the Year. Other 1st teamers include Lawrence Smith (Offensive Line), Torrence Malone (Linebacker) and Kevin Brown (Return Specialist). Several other Blue Tigers made the 2nd team, as well as Honorable Mentions.

Sunday, November 16: Women's Basketball. It was another valiant effort by the Lincoln University Blue Tigers Women's Basketball team in their second game at the Missouri S&T Classic in Rolla. This game was against Oakland City University. The final score was Oakland City 81-Lincoln 55. Leading the Blue Tigers in scoring was Ashley Norris with 23 points. Paris Campbell added another 21 points. The Blue Tigers play Wednesday in Kansas City against Rockhurst.
Saturday, November 15: Men's Basketball. The Lincoln University Blue Tigers Men's Basketball team have gotten off to a great start with a win over Harris-Stowe. The 93-69 victory means the men are now 1-0. Linonel Booker led the Blue Tigers with 30 points. Joe Hutchingson added 23. The men will play at home again on Tuesday against Missouri S&T.
Saturday, November 15: Women's Basketball. The Lincoln University Blue Tigers Women's Basketball team put upa valiant effort against the host Miners at the Missouri S&T Classic in Rolla. The women came up a little short at the end: Missouri S&T 71-Lincoln 46. Ashley Norris led the Blue Tiger scoring with 10 points, and Paris Campbell added 9. The women play again in the S&T Classic on Sunday afternoon against Oakland City.
